Hi, I’m Chris, I lead and mentor design teams, shape UX strategy, and help turn complex challenges into simple, impactful experiences for users.

I’ve worked with international clients like The Nobel Prize, Politico, and The Big Issue to deliver scalable digital solutions. Along the way, I’ve built and mentored design teams, refined processes, and helped projects move from complexity to clarity.

What I do

Design leadership

I guide multi-disciplinary design teams with clarity and empathy, balancing creative exploration with delivery. My focus is on building scalable processes, mentoring designers, and aligning stakeholders so projects move forward smoothly and teams feel empowered.

UX design

I design systems and experiences that turn complex challenges into clear, usable solutions. From defining structures and flows to shaping component libraries, I create design work that is scalable, consistent, and adaptable to evolving business needs.

Research

I believe great design starts with understanding people. I run research to uncover insights about users, their goals, and their pain points, translating findings into actionable opportunities that guide both strategy and design.

User testing

I validate ideas by putting them in front of real users. Through usability testing and feedback loops, I ensure that solutions are not only usable but meaningful, reducing risk and strengthening the final product before launch.

Building a scalable microsite system through team alignment

I led the collaboration between Publix and Fueled design teams to create a scalable component system that unified brand identity, streamlined workflows, and enabled rapid microsite launches.

THE NOBEL PRIZE

Designing systems to celebrate laureates and empower editors

I planned and supported workshops in Sweden to set the roadmap for the Nobel Prize and Nobel Prize Museum sites. I helped design new user journeys for announcement week, extended the design system into museum and cultural experiences, and created a WordPress block system that gave the editorial team the freedom to craft dynamic page layouts.

Streamlining onboarding through user research

I led a user research study to test new onboarding flows for Google’s WordPress plugin, Site Kit. By interviewing non-users of the plugin, prototyping two setup experiences, and analyzing results, I uncovered clear insights that helped the team simplify installation and connect more Google services without friction.

Facilitating onsite workshops to shape the roadmap

I designed and led multi-team workshops in Florida to align Publix and Fueled stakeholders on future priorities. Through creative facilitation, breakout sessions, and team feedback systems, I built momentum, surfaced clear priorities, and left the team with collaborative tools they continued using remotely.
